Our nursery ministry is committed to providing children with a safe, loving environment where they can begin learning about Jesus. Age-appropriate toys and activities are provided to help each child grow physically, mentally, emotionally, socially and spiritually. We have three age groups in which loving, caring and trained teachers provide care: Bed Babies, Crawlers and Toddlers.

Our nursery director and volunteers work hard to ensure that our nursery rooms are properly staffed and equipped to provide the best environment and quality care for each child entrusted to us. We are concerned about the health and well-being of our children; every surface in the nursery is routinely cleaned and sanitized to kill germs and prevent the spread of viruses.

Security is also a priority here at Leatherwood. Identification procedures are in place to ensure that children are released from the nursery to only the parent/ guardian or other responsible adult authorized by the parent/guardian. We have a paging system in place that allows us to page the parent/guardian at any time if the need arises.

The nursery is conveniently located across the hallway from our Worship Center. A nursing mother’s room is also available nearby.
